Our kennel-free home is the ideal opportunity to spend time on the couch with fun, friendly dogs.  It's a great gig- catch up on your fave tv shows while petting dogs, and helping out with normal household chores like dishes and laundry.

Our volunteers are the life-blood of our sanctuary. 

No volunteer typifies this more than the tireless contributions of Terry Best.  Terry provided care and shelter to the least fortunate and most challenged dogs. The dogs that no one else could help. For them, Terry was always there.

We recently lost our sanctuary's "soul-mate" with Terry's passing. 

But his values, ethics and legacy live on in the lives of generation of dogs he saved. Dogs who only have a future thanks to his commitment to providing ending love and conviction to make a difference.

Terry is one of our Sanctuary Angels and we know he is watching over us and helping guide our way forward.

Coming Soon! We are setting up a special event named in his honor; Terry's Best BBQ Picnic each summer. See our Events Calendar on this website for more information. So start mixing up your "secret bbq sauce" as there will be a prize for the best!
